I am participating in Thomas Bros Wagga Wagga Takes Two 2024 to raise awareness and funds for Disabled Wintersport Australia. In December 2021, my brother Aaron was involved in an accident on his farm which resulted in him losing his left leg from above the knee. Aaron has excelled in a variety of sports since the accident and is pursuing professional para snowboarding. Disabled Wintersport Australia have been incredibly supportive of Aaron's snow journey and without them, his snow achievements wouldn't be possible. Disabled Wintersport Australia will use the money raised to reduce the costs of accessing snow sports for people with a disability and their families, and make a donation towards Aaron's Paralympic aspirations.
