The Jindera Museum is located about 15 kms north of the large regional centre of Albury-Wodonga. By day, it's a sprawling indoor-outdoor museum that explores the life of the early settlers in the southern Riverina, their hardships, innovations and the way they lived. By night it transforms into a stunning and unique events venue with a special performance of some sort held monthly in the grounds and other events like high teas and long lunches held during daylight hours. There is always something happening and new events are regularly introduced to the annual program. The museum is 100% volunteer owned and operated, with all money raised going directly back into the preservation and improvement of the centre. With a close to perfect customer satisfaction rate, the museum has become a must-do for visitors to Albury Wodonga and the Greater Hume Shire.
