Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin’ Daddies
Live at Thornbury Bowling Club
Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin’ Daddies are heading to Melbourne for a special afternoon of old-school country, rock ’n’ roll and rockabilly at Thornbury Bowling Club.
Direct from Perth, the band will perform three full sets of Johnny Law originals and carefully selected classics, powered by driving double bass, twangy guitar and plenty of rhythm for the dance floor.
Johnny has been enjoying a huge run of live shows, recently headlining the Crank It Up Festival in Batemans Bay and the Rock ’n’ Roll Jamboree in Sydney, followed by four standout performances at Cooly Rocks On on the Gold Coast.
For this Melbourne appearance, Johnny will once again be joined by guitarist Josh Angus, whose energetic playing was a major part of the Cooly Rocks On shows and brings plenty of fire to the live performance.
A brand-new Johnny Law EP is also planned for release in time for the event, giving Melbourne audiences the chance to hear fresh material alongside songs drawn from more than two decades of recording and performing.
The show runs from 3pm to 6pm, with burgers available from the kitchen courtesy of Jollygood Junior.
Come early, grab a drink, order a burger and settle in for an afternoon of vintage sounds, high-energy playing and genuine rock ’n’ roll.
