Jopuka is the Central Coast’s leading youth arts company — a home for bold ideas, emerging voices, and theatre that means something.
We provide accessible, inclusive, and dynamic arts programming for young people in our region, creating a platform for those often unheard and an environment where talent is nurtured, creative exploration is welcomed, and difference is celebrated. Our stages have launched careers, built confidence, and sparked lifelong friendships.
Founded in 2016, Jopuka is a youth arts charity based on Darkinjung Country. We support emerging artists aged 12–26 across all areas of the youth arts, offering a bold, inclusive, and empowering space for young creatives to explore not only performance, but also writing, design, production, and beyond.
We’ve staged over 60 acclaimed productions and commissioned 17 new Australian works by emerging playwrights and theatre-makers from across the country.
