KEEP (Kōkako Ecosystem Expansion Programme) brings together iwi, landowners, conservation groups and agencies to reconnect kōkako populations across the Bay of Plenty.
Through predator control, habitat protection and restoration, we’re working towards a landscape where kōkako can move between forests, find mates and thrive.
Our events share the stories, knowledge and collective effort behind this work, including screenings of The Song They Saved, a documentary about the people whose pioneering research helped save the North Island kōkako.
