Based in Auckland’s North, Kaipātiki Project is an innovative EcoHub, growing a sustainable future for people and nature. We have been empowering people, inspiring connection with nature, and enabling sustainable living for over 25 years.
Our kaupapa is rooted in a community-led approach, embracing te ao Māori and mātauranga iwi/hapū, while promoting chemical-free practices and a whole-system approach to environmental stewardship.
Along with over 1,000 volunteers, we run a thriving native plant nursery where we grow 40,000+ native and plant them back in the local reserves. We facilitate forest, stream and estuary regeneration days, promote zero waste, and encourage local food initiatives.
