With the return of the beloved series The Piano, the ABC asked Australians to nominate towns across the country that should receive a piano. From a wide range of submissions, we heard the good news that American River will be gifted a preloved piano!
To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a community launch concert showcasing local talent in our community and welcoming the arrival of the piano. The concert will be followed by a separate afternoon event at 1pm, hosted by KI Oysters, please check their socials for more information.
Come join us at KI Oysters on Sunday August 9th 2026 from 10am until 12 noon.
The concert will feature local musical talent, more information to be announced, but it will be the unmissable island event of the year!
The concert will be followed by an afternoon KI Oysters event at 1pm, details forthcoming.
This is a free community concert, but registrations are required to assist with seating.
The venue is wheelchair friendly.
