Kanyana Wildlife is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the rescue, care, and conservation of Western Australia’s native wildlife. Located in the heart of the Perth Hills and surrounded by tranquil jarrah forest, Kanyana operates a busy wildlife hospital that treats over 5,000 sick, injured, orphaned, and displaced animals every year. We also run successful breeding programs for threatened species, deliver training, support vital research, and provide engaging education experiences for schools and the wider community. Kanyana is powered by a passionate team of over 500 volunteers, with only 3 paid staff members supporting our daily operations. We accept all native wildlife into our hospital between 8am and 7pm, every day of the year.
