Kate is a therapist and educator living and working in the Yarra Ranges for over twenty-three years. She is an integrative psychotherapist in private practice and a certified Effectiveness Training instructor.

Kate offers group workshops for parents and caregivers integrating practices grounded in neurobiology, modern attachment theory and emotional regulation taught alongside the relationship-based, communication skills framework of the Parent Effectiveness Training program.

Kate explores practices to regenerate relationships, environment and economy, towards a transformation of culture. In service of relational regeneration, her focus is on helping people navigate uncertainty, and working within complexity, develop and realise their potential for flourishing relationships with themselves, their partners, children and community.

Kate holds a degree in counselling & psychotherapy from the Ikon Institute and is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She’s been facilitating humanistic communication and relationship skills training for parents, individuals and youth for almost fifteen years. She is currently training in Integrative Attachment Therapy, a comprehensive approach to adult attachment repair.
