Kelly spent the first decade of her career in clinical practice, working with individuals and families through trauma, family violence and complex psychosocial harm. She moved into workforce capability after seeing the same patterns surface again and again at the organisational level: staff exposed to harm without the language, the support or the leadership response to make sense of it.
Kelly founded Rubric Education Institute to close that gap. Rubric translates psychosocial WHS obligations into practical, workable capability, combining clinical depth with the operational realities of regulated workplaces. Kelly delivers every session herself, drawing on more than 15 years of clinical and workforce capability experience across education, Vocational Education, aged care, community services, disability, mental health and general workplaces.
Her approach is capability-first rather than compliance-first: helping people identify risk early, have the right conversations, and respond with confidence.
