The Kharchu Centre Australia Incorporated (KCAI), a dharma centre formally established in 2016 after completing registration with the government (of Australia), had its auspicious foundation laid back in 1998 by Kyabje Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche, the seat-holder of Kharchu, during his inaugural visit to Australia. Subsequent visits by His Eminence in 2010 and 2013 saw earnest requests from his benefactors, students, and devoted followers to establish a dharma centre for the benefit of Buddha's teachings and sentient beings. Recognizing the potential to spread Buddha's teachings in Australia's vast and diverse landscape, characterized by its harmonious multicultural society comprising people from various parts of the world, His Eminence agreed to the proposal. He then appointed approximately eight task force members and assumed full responsibility for the purpose of the dharma centre. The centre has branch in all the major cities in Australia,
