Kickstart Arts is a community arts and cultural development (CACD) organisation focused on promoting health and wellbeing, engaging and building communities and supporting positive social change.
Situated in the historic St John's Park in New Town, we run a range of programs, both on-site and in the community. We offer a number of venues/studio spaces for hire and have a vibrant community garden for all to share.
Kickstart Arts proudly hosts Drill Performance, Story Island, MADE, Italian Day Centre, David Stephens Neighbourhood Garden, the Sunlight Kitchen, Rewind Cinema, Nipauna Nursery, Lutriwita Art Orchestra, over 20 artists in residence, and dozens of community and cultural groups.
