Kimmyg works in many different mediums including glass (leadlighting, kiln work, flameworking), jewellery and silversmithing, painting (watercolour, acrylic and mixed media), machine embroidery, textiles, handmade books and journals.
Kimmyg's teaching experience includes a variety of workshops through Flying Arts, RADF, TAFE and private tuition. She is an informed and experienced teacher who takes great delight in sharing information and passing on her skills.
Kimmyg has been creating since around the age of 12, initially learning to sew and knit. Her mother was a potter and watercolourist and stepfather an artist in many different media including pen and ink, watercolours, oils, etchings and lithographs, so it was probably inevitable that she would become an arts practitioner.
