Making sense of her world through song, kt olsson is a Kaurna Land/Adelaide-based artist ready to bloom. Raised in Port Noarlunga, she draws inspiration from her beachside backyard, amongst other musings including behaviour, astrology, relationships, and spirituality.
kt’s debut EP ‘searching for an answer’ is a contemplative, compelling, and vulnerable body of work. Born from her experiences during the Year Of The Snake, 2025, she mines deep into her being and explores endless questions across five R&B-and-pop-infused tracks, breaking through the other side with a greater understanding of self, responsibility, and life’s cycles. With an eclectic sound collaged from her genre expansive childhood and teen inspirations (Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Lorde, Adele, & Prince, to name only a few), kt delivers a thought provoking and heartfelt project sure to leave an impact on its listeners.
