L’Accademia is a music school based in St Heliers, Auckland, built around a shared love of music, the arts, and community. We are proud to foster a vibrant network of creative students, teachers, and musicians who contribute to the cultural life and diversity of the Eastern Bays.
Based at the St Heliers Community Centre, we offer lessons in piano, violin, music theory, and the Feldenkrais Method.
Our teaching team includes highly experienced performers and educators with international careers and recognised expertise in music pedagogy. While we prepare students for examinations, competitions, and university entrance, our lessons are equally focused on creativity, curiosity, and a healthy, sustainable approach to music-making.
We place strong emphasis on awareness, freedom of movement, and sound production, helping students develop both technical confidence and artistic expression in a supportive environment. Throughout the year, students are also offered a range of performance opportunities within our community, as well as complimentary access to many of the concerts and artistic events we present at the centre.
