Lanie brings a unique perspective to her yoga practice with a background in Social Work and a Master’s in Arts Therapy. Inspired by the transformative power yoga has had in her own life, she is passionate about sharing its benefits with others. Trained and experienced in teaching Vinyasa (flow), Yin, Restorative, and Pre/Postnatal yoga, Lanie offers classes for all levels and ages.
With her compassionate and clear teaching style, rooted in her social work and arts therapy background, Lanie emphasises progressive learning and self-study. Through a blend of asana (physical practice), meditation, and pranayama (breathing techniques), she creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where students can explore their practice at their own pace.
Lanie’s goal is to help her students cultivate a peaceful mind and body. By fostering a mindful practice, she believes that the mind-body connection teaches us how to live a healthy, fulfilling, and happy life, both on and off the mat.
