Hello and welcome to my pottery workshops in the beautiful Derwent Valley Tasmania.
I am an informally and mainly self taught potter. I learnt by taking workshops, short courses, online tutorials and then making all the mistakes while hopefully learning from them.
My workshops are welcoming and inclusive. It is exciting to try something new and I like to provide a safe and friendly place for you to do that. Join one of the already planned dates by yourself or with a friend or email me to set up a private workshop for your group of up to 14 people. Read about all the different workshops I offer and then follow the links to book your place!
I have a degree in adult education and worked in Queensland as a TAFE teacher & tutor and also in learning and development roles in a number of private enterprises and semi government businesses where I designed and delivered workshops and courses in person and online.
You will find my wares in shops such as Miss Bond at Salamanca in Hobart, Miss Arthur at New Norfolk, and Mr Wolf at Devonport. I have also made ceramics for the two publications - Warndu Mai cook book and First Nations Food Companion by Rebecca Sullivan and Damien Coulthard. If you stay at the gorgeous Lettes Bay shacks, Bushy Summers and Rosey Summers you will using my wares. I would love it if you would follow me on Instagram to get peeks behind the scenes and at the fun we have at workshops.
Here is a link to a Digital Discovery Map of the Derwent Valley and Central Highlands. It can help you find me and also some wonderful places you may like to check out, before or after your workshop.
