The Circular Head 26Ten - Learn for Life project is a joint initiative between 26Ten and Circular Head Council striving to achieve 3 outcomes:
1. EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT ADULT LITERACY
- Literacy is talked about openly in the community and is seen as a valuable skill that can be learned.
2. EVERYONE IS SUPPORTED TO IMPROVE THEIR LITERACY SKILLS
- People can easily tap into programs and services that will help them.
3. EVERYONE COMMUNICATES INFORMATION CLEARLY
- All information is presented in ways that people can readily understand.
Circular Head is the fifth community in Tasmania to join the 26TEN program along with Glenorchy, Clarence Plains, Huon Valley and Launceston Northern Suburbs. Circular Head Council is the host organisation of the 26TEN Learning for Life project.
