We are a community organisation which brings musicians together to play and perform together in several different bands.
Leeming Area Community Bands (LACB) has two levels of concert bands: the Leeming Concert Band and the Leeming Intermediate Band. Then we have the Leeming Big Band, a new Leeming Intermediate Jazz Band, and a range of small ensembles.
Our Concert Bands consist of the full range of wind and percussion instruments and play music from a variety of genres (classical, film/theatre, popular, marches and hymns/carols). Our Big Band and Intermediate Jazz Band consist of brass, saxophone and percussion instruments which play jazz, rock, funk and swing music.
