Laura Carter Robinson, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist known for her work at the intersection of climate change and mental health. She is a climate psychology educator, consultant, speaker, and workshop facilitator with her business, Humanity&Planet, as well as a climate therapist. She is in the American Psychological Association’s Climate Change Psychology Advisory Group and has served on the executive committee of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. An advocate for using psychology to address the climate crisis and for building emotional sustainability during these challenging times, she is currently at work on her first climate book.
Leslie Davenport is a climate psychology educator, speaker, consultant, and therapist. She is the author of five books, including Emotional Resiliency in the Era of Climate Change, as well two climate books for younger audiences, both published by the American Psychological Association. An APA Climate Emotions workbook for adults will be released in 2026. Leslie advocates for a community-based public health approach to eco-emotional support and regularly contributes to Unspeakable’s “Ask a Climate Therapist” column. Leslie also leads the Climate Psychology Certification program at the California Institute of Integral Studies and serves as an advisor to multiple organizations.
