Hello & welcome!
My name is Linden, and I am the founder behind Talking Tree Events, an initiative to create and direct small, community-driven events.
My background is in Anthropology and Sociology (BA at University of Melbourne) and then as a Masters-qualified librarian (MIS at Charles Sturt University), specialising in community and youth programming, and I bring my experience planning, managing, and facilitating events and programs since 2015.
I am passionate about neurodiversity (and supporting experiences of neurodivergence), motherhood (as a critical, sociological role, and as a personal journey and experience), and youth engagement (and providing spaces for young people to be seen and valued).
I am also an emerging poet, with a couple of published pieces & performances, and my first guerilla-publication poetry chapbook ("to be here") launching in Spring 2026.
I live in the Dandenong Ranges with my young family. I enjoy long ambles through the forest, the mushrooms and moss of late autumn in the Hills, blue skies, low mists, sunlight through leafy branches, poetry in all its forms, and sci-fi/speculative fiction.
