Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) - Clinical Member & Approved Supervisor
Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA) - Clinical Member & Approved Supervisor
I began my professional journey studying exercise science and working for many years as a fitness professional. In the latter part of my career in that space, I worked as an exercise therapist specialising in helping people with chronic pain, injury, and rehabilitation. Through that work, I realised how deeply physical challenges affect us emotionally - and decided to study counselling to better support all aspects of the client’s experiences, not just those they felt in their bodies.
That journey has led me to where I am today: a psychotherapist with over 13 years in private practice and a recently completed PhD in Psychotherapy. My practice is grounded in emotion-focused, somatic, and phenomenological approaches. I work with people across all ages, cultures, and backgrounds, at varying stages of life - which is part of what makes this work so rich and rewarding. I see individuals and couples, and I have particular experience working with athletes navigating the intense physical, psychological, and emotional demands of elite sport.
Beyond my therapeutic work, I'm passionate about supervision. I offer both clinical supervision for psychotherapists and professional supervision for those in caring and service-oriented roles. Supporting other practitioners in their development and reflective practice is deeply meaningful to me.
My counselling space is a safe place to explore whatever brings you here. I work in a caring and thoughtful way, helping clients navigate difficult, uncertain, or uncomfortable times with greater clarity and self-understanding.
