Lisa makes conversations about death and funerals less awkward.

She is an author, journalist and audio producer, cemetery wanderer, death awareness advocate, and blogger.

As a leading death literacy advocate and author of a funeral planning guide and After Death Action Plan, Lisa values the importance of arming society with the information they need to make informed decisions before their end of life.

She draws on her 20 years of experience within the broadcast media industry to communicate the facts and quirks about death, dying, and funerals in a non-confrontational way and, wherever possible, with humour and colour.

Her popular funeral planning guide and workbook, The Bottom Drawer Book: the after death action plan, was first published in 2013 and is now in its fourth edition.
