Little Sister Big Sister (LSBS) society is a student-led initiative that fosters the networking, support and advancement of strong First Nations women at UNSW.
LSBS aims to empower and unite Indigenous women within our university society, creating a vibrant and inclusive community that embraces our diverse cultures, knowledge, and lived experiences. We strive to cultivate a supportive environment that honours our ancestral wisdom, fosters personal and academic growth, and promotes leadership, resilience, and self-determination.
Through meaningful collaboration, cultural revitalisation, and the celebration of Indigenous womanhood, we envision a future where our voices are amplified, our rights and aspirations are respected, and our contributions lead to positive societal change. Together, we will build a legacy of strength, solidarity, and empowerment for current and future generations of Indigenous women within our university and beyond.
