Llewellyn Jones:
Llewellyn Jones is a proud Deaf community leader with over 20 years of experience teaching and sharing Auslan (Australian Sign Language). He is the founder of Auslan Room and Auslan 101, where he creates safe, welcoming, and fun spaces for people to learn Auslan and connect with the Deaf community.
As both an Auslan teacher and a Deaf Interpreter, Llewellyn is passionate about making communication accessible and building stronger connections between Deaf and hearing people. He has delivered workshops for schools, workplaces, community groups, and national events, always focusing on inclusion, awareness, and practical learning.
Llewellyn believes that learning Auslan is more than just learning signs. It’s about understanding Deaf culture, respect, and connection. His sessions are interactive, supportive, and designed to give learners the confidence to use Auslan in everyday life.
When he’s not teaching, Llewellyn enjoys supporting community initiatives and mentoring others to grow in confidence and skills.
