Lorcan Power is an artist who practises and shares dance. Exploring ways to physicalise stories and create meaning through feeling into and out of their movement. Offering collaborators a space to be in touch with & connect to their own bodies.
They have had training and mentorship across various dance genres and theatre methods. Some of their performance credits include : Sydney World Pride, Dark Mofo, AGNSW, MCA, Victoria Pride, Performance Space, Heapsgay, The Bearded Tit, Naughty Noodle Fun Haus, En Dance, Take Flight, Miscellania. Travelled and shared in Ireland, London, Tokyo, and LA. Choreographed and movement directed for musicians Lupa J, Vlossom, Brendan Maclean and The Land of Rah. Has directed two full-length live show’s ‘Faux Pas’ with a sold out season at Flight Path Theatre, 2022. And ‘anam ċara’ at PACT 2024. Lorcan recently was a mentor & collaborator for Hugo Poulet's debut solo work 'Orbital' a part of Catapult's residency, and selected artist for Performance Space x Critical Path's Experimental Choreographic LAB.
