Lotus Hearts Buddhist Institute & Initiatives Inc. is a not-for-profit community organisation based in the Southern Highlands, NSW, dedicated to making authentic Tibetan Buddhist wisdom accessible in a modern, compassionate, and grounded way.
Founded by local community members with deep experience in Buddhist study and translation, Lotus Hearts exists to support genuine teachers, preserve the integrity of the Dharma, and offer practical teachings that meet people in the reality of their everyday lives.
Our events are offered in the spirit of dāna (generosity) — an ancient tradition where teachings are shared freely and participants contribute according to their means. This approach helps remove financial barriers while allowing the community to collectively support visiting teachers and the continuation of these precious teachings.
We host meditation sessions, community gatherings, and special teaching events, creating safe and welcoming spaces for reflection, inquiry, and personal transformation.
