Loxton Mardi Gras is a weekend of family fun in one of the Riverland's friendliest towns. Come for the giant parade and support our local community! Take time to check out the themed window displays by businesses.
Highlights on the Saturday include a parade of floats (usually more than 50) and bands, and the crowning of the Ambassadors.
Sunday morning at the Rotunda we have an appreciation service honouring local volunteers and a chosen SA Military nurse. A presentation is made to the current flag bearers.

Did you know...? The Loxton Mardi Gras originally started because the town wanted to raise some money to put in an Olympic sized swimming pool. Now successfully 67 years later the Loxton Mardi Gras is still supporting local community groups with grant money.
