PALS is the supporting nonprofit of University of Central Florida Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (UCF-CARD), and currently offers services and support to more than 27,000 Central Florida families raising an individual with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
PALS Mission: Our goal is to provide support and assistance to optimize the potential of people with autism, dual sensory impairment, and related disabilities in conjunction with the UCF Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (UCF CARD). We serve individuals, their families, and the professionals that support them in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Sumter, Volusia, and Lake counties at no charge through various evidence-based direct service programs, school support, family events, conferences, workshops and skill-building strategies.
UCF Center for Autism & Related Disabilities: PALS supports the UCF Center for Autism & Related Disabilities by creating opportunities for individuals in Central Florida and providing state-of-the-art inclusive programs to optimize positive outcomes as they learn, play, work, and live. UCF CARD strives to educate and empower individuals and families throughout the lifespan, and the Center provides training that enables professionals to deliver evidence-based treatments.
