Meet Calluna Vulgaris ☽
I've been reading tarot for around 30 years. I encountered the cards as a teenager as a way of understanding myself and connecting with other people, a magical practice at a difficult time. Over the years practice has been shaped by books, courses, tarot circles and, most importantly, learning from other people in shared spaces where we read together.
I've facilitated tarot circles and workshops in community settings. I enjoy helping people develop their own intuitive relationship with the cards rather than telling them what a card is meant to mean.
For me, tarot is a language of images, archetypes, patterns and possibilities. It's a way to pause, reflect, connect with others and create small rituals of attention in an often difficult world. I don't believe there is one right way to read tarot. I'm interested in what happens when we bring different perspectives, experiences and ways of knowing to the same cards.
