Ma non troppo (but not too much) is a Melbourne choir directed by Christopher Watson. Designed for busy professionals and others who are musically rich, but unfortunately time poor, this choir offers singers a chance to pursue musical excellence without the overwhelming rehearsal commitment of traditional models.
Our Vision
Ma non troppo is about creating an opportunity for choristers to meet and produce high-quality music amidst the demands of their professional and home lives. In other words, we aim for musical excellence, but not too much rehearsal commitment. This is reflected in our streamlined schedule of just three Saturday rehearsals and a short final rehearsal on concert day.
