The Macquarie Minds and Intelligence Initiative at Macquarie University explores the diversity of intelligences and minds: natural, artificial and collective. By understanding the basis of intelligence in nature, technology and society, we are creating smarter systems and delivering better working and learning methods.
We work beyond faculties and disciplines to bring together diverse expertise, knowledge and skills. Our research programs unite expertise in cognitive science, managerial science, neuroscience, philosophy, , psychology, ethology and computer science.
One of the projects of the Macquarie Minds & Intelligences Initiatives focuses on: DECISION INTELLIGENCE
Decision Intelligence (DI) is a discipline or practice that integrates data science, social science, and management science to improve organizational decision-making by building decision-making models that combine human judgment and AI. In the context of Gartner Group's concept of a "Decision-centric Enterprise," Decision Intelligence is essential for transforming traditional decision processes into advanced, data-enabled ones that adapt to the organization’s strategic goals and operational dynamics.
The DECISION INTELLIGENCE project of the Macquarie Minds & Intelligences Initiatives facilitates the exchange between executives and researchers to leverage new technologies in strategic analyses and decision-making!
