Made on the Moon is an East & South East Asian (ESEA) non-profit creative & cultural agency, fostering space for more ESEA artistic representation through our annual multi-arts festival MOON FEST, community outreach, consultancy & other projects.
Our flagship event is the annual multi-arts festival MOON FEST, known for its vibrant blend of live performances, short films, art & food stalls. Founded in 2022, MOON FEST has taken place in both Bristol and London at various landmark venues like Rich Mix, Trinity Centre, Arnolfini, Watershed, Sparks, welcoming more than 500 people. The founder of Made on the Moon, Monica Wat, a singer-songwriter and multi-arts creative hailing from Hong Kong, is also supported by PRS Foundation's Early Career Promoter Fund, to bring to life the 2025 expanded edition of MOON FEST with two stops in Bristol and London.
Made on the Moon also specialises in community engagement, connecting ESEA audiences and showcasing ESEA traditions & creativity with arts and cultural organisations like Cinema Rediscovered, Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast, Bristol Museums and more.
