Malia has been practicing yoga for over six years and completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher training at Sangha Hot Yoga Studio in Pacifica, CA, in Spring 2024. She specializes in Vinyasa and Hot Power Fushion, but is also certified in the 26&2 practice.
Malia’s passion for music, breath, and movement inspires her dynamic yet grounding Vinyasa classes. Yoga has always been a place for her to reset, connect, and play, and she aims to create that same experience for her students. Her intention is for each student to leave class feeling supported, grounded, resilient, and empowered.
She believes the union of movement and breath offers tools that extend far beyond the mat and strives to weave that connection into every practice. Malia continues to learn and evolve as both a student and teacher, offering space for students to receive what they need—whether movement, stillness, breath, or community.
A Pacifica native now living in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset, Malia can often be found exploring coastal trails, relaxing at the beach with her dog, or traveling in search of new adventures.
