Hi there, I’m Belinda.
A postpartum doula and motherhood support practitioner based in Bendigo.
After becoming a mother in 2016, and then again in 2019, I became deeply interested in the emotional and identity shifts that occur during postpartum—and how little support many women in our culture receive during this transition.
Mama Folk grew from that lived experience and a desire to create more honest, grounded spaces for mothers in the early years of parenting.
Alongside a background in teaching, I have studied the works of Gordon Neufeld, Rudolf Steiner and Aletha Solter. I have also completed training through Community Supported Postpartum, Newborn Mothers and Dr Sophie Brock.
