Manilla Community Renewable Energy Inc. (MCRE) is formed from a group of volunteers from the Manilla area, who see the potential for community owned renewable energy projects and community collaboration.
For the third time, MCRE is holding our community festival; Renewable Manilla
Renewable Manilla aims to
- Offer time and space for folks to get together
- Celebrate local food, music and have fun
- Create space for creative and STEM workshops
- Provide a platform for new ideas and approaches
- Support local producers and projects - including the Manilla Solar Project
Festivities include 100 Mile Dinner, Yoga, Creative & STEM workshops, Disco, Trivia, and more
The event will be held on the Manilla Town Halls, library forecourt and main street during the autumn school holidays
