Margaret O'Hanlon - The Singers Workshop NZ

Margaret O'Hanlon studied at the Laguardia School of the Arts where she majored in Voice and received a Diploma in Music.  From there she received a BA/LA at SUNY Purchase.  Before moving to NZ Margaret performed her own penned Cabaret shows in NY's Greenwich Village.  

After moving to NZ, Margaret began teaching privately and working as Musical Director and Choir Director for local Musical Theatre companies and Community groups.  As her student numbers grew, Margaret started running her Beginners Singing Classes.  From there her classes expanded to include the Continuing Singing classes, Harmony and Performance.  In 2022 Margaret launched her Singing Academy for young singers. 

Margaret's method is based around the natural ability to sing.  Using an instinctive approach to producing sound and breathing she allows students to discover the natural resonance within their bodies.
