Living Smart is a welcoming and inclusive community course that fosters resilience, connection and wellbeing. The locally relevant program provides us with the skills and knowledge to take action in our own homes to improve our quality of life and reduce our environmental impact. The Living Smart sustainability course has won multiple awards with content that is refreshingly positive and ever-evolving with our changing world.
Facilitator Laura Bailey of Margaret River Organic Farmer is a qualified teacher, curriculum developer & experienced sustainability educator. Her background is in renewables, energy assessing, permaculture & regenerative farming. Laura is WA's Living Smart facilitator for the South West & she has delivered the program for Local Governments and NGO hosts throughout the region since 2013.

Margaret River Organic Farmer is a Landcare award-winning regenerative farm founded in 2015. The local family enterprise is run by Lawson Armstrong, a 4th generation farmer who moved from conventional agriculture into organic, biodynamic growing in the 1990s, and Laura Bailey, an experienced sustainability educator.
Our aim is to revive healthy connections between country, animals and community.
We work with nature to produce authentically clean, ethical protein & nutrient rich veg. We use holistic, biological methods to build living soils, care for the ecosystem & regenerate the land.
We share our learnings & experiences with our community via
regenerative living workshops, sustainability events, farm tours, &
organic growing consultancy services for landholders.
