MARK TREVORROW is an award winning comedian, singer, broadcaster and actor. In 1984 he created BOB DOWNE, one of Australia's most enduring and beloved comic characters.
Since 1999, Mark has also performed as himself, singing in cabaret, recording, hosting TV shows including The Way We Were on the ABC, broadcasting on ABC Local Radio, acting in Kath and Kim (as Darryl the menswear salesman) and most recently voicing the character of Russell on the animated ABC kids' series Kangaroo Beach.
He is currently touring Australia in Bob Downe's 40th Anniversary show, CHOOSE BOB! 40 Ridiculous Years, and is also singing regularly as himself with old friends RUPERT NOFFS and Music Director BEV KENNEDY in their cabaret show OLD FRIENDS, celebrating songs from musical theatre, pop and jazz standards.
Mark's nearly 50 years working in media started in 1977 as a copy boy on the Melbourne Herald Sun. His work has taken him from Sydney to Edinburgh, from London to New York, and it's not over yet!
