Maroondah Rotary is more than just a service organisation. Whilst we cook a mean snag on the barbie, we're much more than that too!
We're a group of people from varied backgrounds including business owners, retirees, employees, men and women who come together to make a difference in our community. We do that by fundraising and/or giving our time to support amazing causes locally, Nationally and abroad.
Our Community, International and Youth Committees meet to discuss where the funds would be best allocated to make the biggest impact. They will then make a recommendation to the Board for funds to be directed accordingly.
We've supported local projects at Maroondah Hospital, 4TK, mental health, domestic violence, youth programs such as Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) along with fabulous international projects such as Operation Toilets and assisting the cause to eradicate polio (Polio Plus).
