The Marton Arts & Crafts Centre is a volunteer run non-profit organization, based in Marton, Rangitīkei. It's primary purpose is to promote, foster and encourage the creative arts.
The centre offers space for like minded people to come together and create. We run a regular calendar of tutored classes and social groups. Classes are run by skilled tutors, while social groups encourage creative companionship and the enjoyment of participants' preferred mediums. To add variety we run a series of workshops throughout the year
We also hold regular events such as the Makers Market and Christmas Bonanza - these provide opportunities for the public to meet and celebrate our region's creatives. Our members participate in ajoining regional arts activities such as The Whanganui and Manawatu Art Trails, they also enter invitational Regional Shows.
