We believe good theology is robust in truth, relevant to daily life, and accessible to every Christian person.
We know, from Scripture, that when we study his word, we find an invitation to fall more deeply in love with him. When we consider the gospel, the death and resurrection of Jesus, it’s this love that not only transforms our lives but spills out into the lives of those around us.
We've held this conviction since 1891. Our namesake Mary Andrews, who served as Principal for over 20 years, said: “The measure of what you can do for the world will be simply what you let God do with yourself.”
More recently, our current Principal, Dr Laurel Moffatt wrote, “Theology is for all of God’s people. We all have ‘words about God’; our shared task is to ensure those words are good and right, reflecting His character and guiding us into wise, joyful obedience.”
