Matt Frequencies and The Violet Bombshell are a disabled Neuroqueer couple, navigating their way through creative spaces and having a blast doing it!
Their magnum opus is Divergence (previously known as The Book of Divergence), a choose your own adventure musical story that evolves with the audiences' decisions, and brings in Matt's voice acting and performing experience to set the scene as the story unfolds.
Following the theme of musical stories, Matt and Violet created Tales from the Deck - a mini-festival of sorts showcasing musical stories played by DJs designed to take the audience on a journey through worlds enchanting, terrifying and powerful, where genre and hypnotising beats take a back seat to emotion and meaningful thought. Tales from the Deck is currently on hiatus having a successful first season over the warmer summer months.
In between showings of Divergence, Matt Frequencies can be found DJing local Melbourne events with a focus of video game and anime themed events.
