Mauna Mantra is a sacred sound offering born from a love of mantra, music, community and the quiet space that lives beneath it all.
Through kīrtan, mantra, meditation and devotional practice, we gather to soften the mind, open the heart and remember something deeper within ourselves.
The word Mauna speaks to silence - not simply the absence of sound, but the inner stillness we can return to. Mantra becomes the pathway; sacred sound carrying us inward, beyond the noise of everyday life and into presence.
Our gatherings weave together traditional mantra, soulful music, storytelling and simple sacred practices, creating spaces where people can come exactly as they are. Some evenings may also include yoga, shared Ayurvedic meals, pūjā and celebrations inspired by the rhythms and festivals of the Vedic tradition.
You do not need to know the mantras, have a particular spiritual practice, or even consider yourself a singer. You are simply invited to come, listen, sing, feel and share in the experience.
From sound into silence, and silence back into sound.
