Maya is qualified yoga and meditation teacher based in Boorloo, Perth Australia. After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Tantra at the end of 2020, she has been teaching a range of yoga and wellness practices around Western Australia. Maya is a gentle and loving soul, with a teaching style that is rooted in slow and compassionate movement with a Yin-like nature. She is passionate about practicing yoga on and off the mat, allowing these teachings to guide us to our innermost peace - which is our birthright to experience.

Weaving together mindful movement, the breath and sound, Maya likes to incorporate sensory experiences into her offerings such as using essential oils and food. Having experienced first hand the benefits of yoga and pranayama to assist with high level anxiety and demotivation, Maya's intention is to create a safe space for her students to connect with their inner most peace away from the noise of the outside world.

Beyond her yoga practice and offerings, Maya enjoys tending to her vegetable and fruit garden in the sunshine, singing mantras, exploring creating plant-based food in the kitchen and living as close to the land as possible.
