Home of the Gladstone Auto Club, its members and the wider Gladstone community are proud to present a world-class facility in Central QLD.
Located in Benaraby, within the CQ Motorsports complex and only 30 minutes south of Gladstone, the track was built by club member and super sedan fanatic, Bob McCosker, along with his team at McCosker Contracting and the support of an amazing team of volunteers, club members and local businesses to bring this facility to our region.
The venue will host a variety of speedway events every race season, but also offer a facility for a wider range of events to be held and hosted, including music festivals, markets, circus performances, car shows and much, much more!
Gladstone Speedway will be home to SSA Super Sedans, Sprint cars, SSA Modified Sedans, SSA Production Sedans, SSA Street Stock, AMCA Nationals, Modlites, SSA Junior Sedans, Late Models, Dirt Modified, Wingless Sprints, Formula 500’s, National 4's, Super Stockers, Speedcars, Midgets, Legends, Nostalgias and Karts just to name a few.
Gladstone Speedway is expected to be an exceptional track 500m on the Fence, 403m Pole Line, 12.5% Banking, 15m Wide Track with potential for 3 lane racing.
The venue will offer fantastic facilities for our competitors including dedicated pit parking with ample space for trucks, trailers and car set-up. The pits will also feature dedicated ablution facilities with showers. Spectators won’t miss out either, with 10,000m2 of parking and 4,000m2 of grassed spectator viewing area along with grand stands, dedicated toilets with accessible facilities, with food and beverage sites for vendors to be set up on the spectator hill for ease of access, enabling the crowds to enjoy the entertainment whilst cooling off with a cold beverage or something to eat.
