Melissa facilitates Somatic Soundscape Meditation Healing Circles and monthly collaborative gatherings that weave sound healing, somatic awareness, breath, intention, and community connection. These spaces are designed to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and reconnection to self and others—offering a grounded, heart-centered environment for healing, presence, and renewal.
At the heart of her work is the belief that healing happens in connection—with the body, with breath, with sound, and with each other. She creates spaces where people can slow down, listen inward, and remember their innate capacity for regulation, meaning, and love.
Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (PA) with a Master of Arts in Substance Use and Co-occurring Disorders specializing in trauma (Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School), and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation/Human Services (Penn State University). She is an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR therapist, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS Institute), Jungian Sandplay Therapy, and an Advanced Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Instructor (RYT-500, Yoga Alliance).
Her clinical and experiential work bridges science and spirituality, integrating evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic and expressive modalities to support trauma healing, emotional resilience, and self-understanding. She offers a calm, attuned, and compassionate presence, guiding individuals toward greater integration and authenticity.
At its core, her work is a return to presence, connection, and love—where healing unfolds through awareness, embodiment, and relationship.
