Michelle is a qualified and experienced Awakening Joy facilitator with more than 30 years’ involvement in health and wellbeing practices. Based in Melbourne, she has been providing professional counselling since 2007 and draws on a broad range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person.
She brings a strong background in communities of practice, learning and development, and clinical supervision, and has led countless groups as a mentor, coach, counsellor and yoga teacher.
Michelle has also designed and run specialist yoga programs for people living with chronic pain, illness and injury, helping them find steadiness and support through change.
Her qualifications include a Master of Counselling, Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Human Services, and Bachelor of Health Science. She has completed specialist training in Couples Therapy (Relationships Australia), Clinical Supervision (with accredited Australian and UK trainers), a Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy (Swinburne University), Diploma of Advanced Somatics (Zapchen), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Australian Institute of Management) and Heart of Yoga teacher accreditation.
