Michelle fell in love with Pilates & Yoga in her early twenties when she was travelling Australia as a professional musical theatre performer. This love of movement led her to train as a Pilates Instructor in 2013 and a Yoga Instructor in 2018. After the birth of her daughter in 2019, Michelle was passionate to deepen her knowledge of the pelvic floor in order to heal her own body and educate others. In 2020 she completed her Pre/Postnatal Pilates Training with Taube Pilates, Pregnancy in motion with Tensegrity training, Pelvic Floor anatomy and physiology with Bliss Baby Yoga and most recently completed Pelvic Floor education with APPI. In 2021 Michelle completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction with National Pilates Training, something she had wanted to accomplish since she first stepped foot into a Pilates Studio. This allowed her to rehabilitate clients from all walks of life in a clinical Pilates setting. In 2024 Michelle is circling back to the love of Yoga and creating spaces for women to share emotions without the need to "fix anything" but to be heard and seen in their challenges and wins.
Michelle is inspired to encourage Movement Instructors to talk to their clients about Pelvic Floor health and to help all bodies connect to their pelvic floor.
