Mid Murray Landcare SA is a grassroots conservation organisation dedicated to strengthening the ecological health and community resilience of the Mid Murray region. For more than two decades, we’ve worked alongside volunteers, landholders, schools, scientists and partner organisations to deliver practical, place‑based projects that protect biodiversity and empower local people to care for their landscapes.
Our work spans threatened species recovery, habitat restoration, ecological education, citizen science and long‑term monitoring programs — all driven by collaboration and community pride. From engaging students at Meldanda Environmental Education Centre to partnering with regional experts on fauna and flora conservation, Mid Murray Landcare SA brings people together to create lasting environmental outcomes.
We believe that strong communities grow from shared stewardship, hands‑on learning and a deep connection to country.
